About us

Wee Isle Dairy is a family business started by husband and wife, Don & Emma Dennis. They live and work on Tarbert Farm, a dairy farm on the Isle of Gigha, Scotland. Emma, the dairy farmer, was born on the island and took on the running of the farm when her father retired. Don, the ice cream maker, moved to the island in 2003 to run his flower essence business.

In 2015 Don & Emma started pasteurising and bottling their whole milk from the farm and producing artisan ice cream, and so Wee Isle Dairy was born! Don also produces a range of dessert sauces to accompany the ice cream. More recently they opened Wee Isle Café on the island, where you can find their milk, ice cream, sauces and simple take away food.
